STUDIO AOI

Observing the world's currents, with AI.

We build media, publish it, and watch the data. Studio Aoi is an experimental media lab.

What we do

While publishing in five languages with AI, we keep a record of what it costs, which sources go quiet, what our checks miss, and how far a piece travels. Not just the finished writing — the steps that did not work, too.

01

Build

We write in Japanese, English, Spanish, French and Portuguese — each one written from scratch, not translated. Speed is not the goal: we also log what a piece costs and how it was made. In August 2026, one five-language set cost $33.75; a single Japanese piece, $6.90.

02

Publish

We do not swap one text into five languages; we write five. We do not hide that the writing, art and audio are made with AI, and anything we fix is kept in a correction log. The aim is that you can trace what AI did and where we stepped in.

03

Observe

We do not only count reads. We check whether a source has quietly stopped, whether a fetch succeeded but came back empty, and whether saying “written with AI” changes how a piece travels. When we do not have an answer yet, we say so.

We also run an audio show, "Team Aoi Yomihogushi Radio" (in Japanese). Listen on the app you like.

About the studio

We want more places where makers and audiences can respect one another. That is the experiment of Studio Aoi — growing media while observing the currents of the world, using AI as our tool.
